BART K9 unit 1028

BART Police car # 1028, a Ford Police Interceptor, southbound on San Pablo Avenue in Albany, CA. Taken by a Nikon D40x with an 18-55mm Nikkor kit lens. (at 45?) Rotated 10 degrees (original wasn't level, being a "snap camera to face and shoot" shot.) and cropped in Paint Shop Pro 7. (non-EXIF aware…)
Although there is no BART station in Albany, the Richmond line runs through Albany, emerging from the Berkeley tunnel about ¼ mile short of the Albany/Berkeley border, and running on an overhead viaduct (now [1/2012] under earthquake retrofit...) to the El Cerrito Plaza Station just north of the Albany/El Cerrito (not to mention the Alameda County/Contra Costa County) border. BART PD cars are often seen...
My next photo in my photostream was taken near that tree. (see note)
