Another assignment that i'v assigned myself. Since i didnt have nothing to do at home, this idea come through after read a blog about shot scale car. It's a toy actually (dont get upset even it's just a toy :p). It was a tough jobs actually, to play with light. I use 3 light here in order to make this picture. I had to positioning the light and play with it so that the car looks superb. After catch 150pictures, only 5-6 pictures that can caught my attention.

Whats left of the Longbridge Car Factory

Longbridge was once the largest manufacturing plant in the world, producing the Austin, Morris, British Leyland and MG Rover cars. MG Rover went bankrupt in 2005 since the most of the plant has been demolished and the land flattened.

Throughout the last century the local Birmingham economy was dominated by the car company and its suppliers, everyone new someone or was someone who worked in the automobile industry.

For many years the existence of the industry locally has been on a knife edge being bailed out by nationalisation in the 70s, a partnership with Honda and then a succession of owners including BMW.

And now its gone.
