Graham Hill, Lotus-Ford

One of my favorite cars, the Gold Leaf Team Lotus 49 at the 1968 German Grand Prix. Photo was taken on the first lap, Hill finished second to Jackie Stewart in an amazing race at the Nurburgring.
The Ford Cosworth DFV bolted onto the back of the aluminum monocoque right behind the driver. Since there was no chasis in the rear of the car, the high wing bolted directly on the suspension.
Nikormat FTN, Nikor 200mm lens, manual focus, Kodak Ekatchrome color slide film.
